Mixed Martial Arts
At Circle of One Martial Arts and Fitness we incorporate both traditional and modern elements of martial arts and karate in every class we teach. The foundations of our techniques are derived from the Chinese Goju karate system which is a complete fighting style that combines the best elements of Chinese and Japanese martial arts. This fusion art melds the flowing circular hand movements of Kung Fu with the powerful linear attacks of Goju-Ryu karate, producing a system that’s soft and hard, yin and yang.
Our students learn superior self-defense moves that they will be able to utilize in real life situations. By incorporating a variety of martial arts techniques, such as Goju, Judo, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu we are able to teach striking and ground fighting methods that enable our students to defend themselves from holds such as hand grabs, chokes, and ground submissions. These techniques become instinctual and allow our students to access and protect themselves from unwanted situations.
